Explore fundamentals of video game design using an object oriented approach. Learn to create your own game, storyline, game objects and the incorporation of sound and actions. No programming experience is required. Each participant designs a game that they take home on a CD at the end of the program!

Interactive 3D Computer Game Design.
In this program, you will embark on an exciting journey to explore the fundamentals of three-dimensional game authoring systems using an object- oriented approach. Explore a high-end 3D Game Engine, a physics engine, a level and model editor, and a C++ script compiler used to create and publish games. Create a game with 3D objects using isometric views, use custom textures, add actions (behaviors) to each object and let the objects independently interact with each other. Take home the game on a CD! Age 13 and above.

Action Adventure with 3D Computer Game Design.
Develop game creation skills while you create an action adventure game. Embark on an exciting journey to explore the fundamentals of three-dimensional game authoring systems. Design levels using prefabricated objects or create your own using a 3d model and level editor. Learn about key frame and bones animation, and create dynamic 3d models. Incorporate textures and skins to customize the appearance of your objects. Develop a storyline with other participants choosing what you enjoy most. Create graphics, special terrains, design a game plan and create game play. Integrate all the elements of the project together to make a game. Take home the game on a CD!

Game Modding.
If you like role-playing games (RPGs), the Game Modding program provides you a way to be at the center of a game you create and play. You choose what skills and abilities you will develop as you voyage through a complex fantasy world of your making. Misty forests, caverns of foul evil, royal courts, only need your imagination to make them come alive. All the monsters, items, set pieces and settings are there for world builders to use. Once you've set the scene, become the master of your domain as a scholarly wizard who wields powerful magic against your enemies, an armor-clad warrior who protects the innocent and vanquishes his foes, or a crusading Cleric who heals the sick and defends the helpless. But do not stop there; construct traps, encounters, custom monsters and magic items to make your adventure unique.

Console Game Design.
If you have made games that run on a computer, have you ever wondered what it takes to create games for game consoles like X-Box, PS2 and Nintendo? Here is you chance to take the next step and learn the fundamentals of using a Video Game System Development Kit to create games for a hardware console. In this program you will create games that run on a SX52 hardware console. Create, download and play the arcade games you create on the SX52 hardware platform. The console uses Atari style joysticks and connects to a television. Customize the games to entertain friends and family.
